Cassia Cinnamon Sticks
Exotic, sweet-flavored spice picked and packed in eco-friendly pouches only. They are high in fiber and calcium and are used as one of the regular spices in Asian cuisine. Cinnamon sticks can be used in both sweet and savory dishes. The inner brown bark of the Cinnamomum tree when dried into tubular sticks are known as “Quill”. Cassia has a slightly different flavour than regular Cinnamon and is much healthier. Also known as Dalchini sticks, they have a shelf life of over 2 years. Keep in an airtight zip pouch or air-tight bottle jars so that the aroma is retained.
