Lemon Grass
Lemon Grass fresh or dried lemongrass can be steeped or boiled to make an herbal infusion or decoction. It can also be used in soups, stews, stir-fries. You can chop the fresh leaves or simply break up dried leaves. About one teaspoon of lemongrass leaves per cup of boiling water is a good ratio.
How to use Lemongrass in tea?
Instructions. Bring the water and lemongrass stalks and leaves to a boil. Let lemongrass steep for about 5 minutes. Now add the tea leaves and lower the flame. Let the tea leaves brew for about 3 minutes. Add milk and sugar. Heat for a minute more. Strain and serve. Your Lemongrass chai is ready! Or Add 2-3 gms of lemongrass in boiling water. Filter & Pour. Sip your lemongrass tea!
How to store?
Lemongrass can be stored both in fridge and freezer. You may keep them in air tight pouches or zip-locked bags
