Sichuan peppercorn is a spice produced from the husks of seeds of two species of the prickly ash shrub, which is in the rue or citrus family. In India, its grown in the foothills of Himalayas. Schezwan pepper is known for its high pungent, sharp tasting spice. It can be used as whole seeds or ground into powder. This red chinese schezwan pepper is one of the five seeds that comprise of five-spice powder and is used in many savoury Schezwan dishes. This pepper has a citrus like after taste.

Timur pepper is fragrant and flavour is perfect-spice for making Momos, Noodles, Paneer chilli, Soups, Chutneys and even non veg dishes. Store sichuan chilli spice in air-tight jars or pouches once opened.
